The program, for a number of years was held on New < Year's Day at the local courthouse. It has been ? held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for the past twc years. Prezell R. Robinson, president of Saint Augustine College, Raleigh, will speak at the program. ** Robinson, a native oi Batesburg, S.C., has heac ed the Raleigh College since 1967. He is an Alumni of the college and holds a masters and Ph.D. degree from Cornell University. He served as visiting lecturer on several college and university campuses, including six African countries. Dr. Joseph Gordon, will present Robinson. Harvey L. Kennedy, of Kennedy, Kennedy and Kennedy Law Firm, will read the historic proclamation. Harold L. Kennedy, attorney, vice president of the association, will preside at the meeting. The Rev. Carl H. Gill, president of the association, will make the appeal for new members and financial support for the scholarship fund.
